Here is the audio map of the first half of Decaycast’s excavation into the deepest darkest crevices of sound, time, space, toilet plungers, nature, sound abatement, the politics of poverty as art, mechanical devices and the Danube River as told by the artist herself—the file finishes out with a performance by Laetitia on her “Lady’s Glove.”

Decaycast live broadcast as Part of Neighborhood Public Radio’s “Radio Cartography”
Alright, for the newest episode of Decaycast, we decided to abolish the hours and hours of meticulous editing that are at the root of every episode of Decaycast, and construct an episode based entirely on the live mix. Let it fly, and leave it all in; Noise blasts, digital distortion, and all. Thanks to Zefrey and the other wonderful folks at Neighborhood Public Radio and Southern Exposure Gallery, and Hidden Noises project, we were able to do this last saturday, March 24th, live on NPR’s airwaves, which broadcast at 88.9fm to a small radius within their home-base at 25th & Mission St. in SF
The episode will be posted as soon as we get our grubby little collaging hands on the audio file, which currently resides in NPR vault. check back soon! <hehe>

Initially a meditation on halloween and horror movie themed music. We peer inside the zombie mind. Television newscasting yourself into a zombie corner.This must be what its like to die in a horror movie. So get some popcorn and fake blood, we’ll light candles with Aleister Crowley to walk through a midnight doorway and meet darkness with a white noise torch.
Dr. Decaycast feels there should be enough halloween music to celebrate halloween at any point during the year. So Halloween comes again just after the new year.
